Description

When it comes to making low cost travel easy, safe and reliable at easyJet, there is no team more important than Engineering & Maintenance. As one of our A Licenced Mechanics you’ll play a vital role in keeping our customers moving and reducing delays - and helping us continue to have the highest technical reliability of any Airbus fleet in the world.

As part of an 800 strong team, you’ll do this by using your technical knowledge of aircraft to perform maintenance activities on our fleet of A320 and A320neos to industry leading safety and technical standards. Working under the guidance of Duty Engineers or Certifying Licensed Aircraft Engineers, you’ll carry out defect rectification and routine servicing using the latest tools and technology.

Everyone at easyJet shares the ‘Orange Spirit’, and within Engineering & Maintenance that means working with people who collaborate, are approachable, are incredibly diverse and inclusive, stand up to be counted, and have your back. And as well a rock solid commitment to your ongoing development and training, we can also offer you lots of other benefits including bonuses, share schemes, and of course discounts on flights and holidays.

Due to this role being listed on the UK Government ‘Shortage of Occupation’ list, we’re able to sponsor Skilled Worker Visas for those who currently don’t have the right to work in the UK and would like to relocate.

Requirements of the Role

What you need to do the role

First and foremost you’ll need to hold a UK Part 66 A licence and authorisation, have operational experience in a line maintenance environment, and possess technical knowledge of aircraft along with the hand skills needed to get the job done. You’ll be comfortable using aircraft maintenance documentation and computer based reporting and recording systems, and have working knowledge of health and safety legislation.

You’ll also naturally need to be able to work effectively as part of a team, with the focus and flexibility to meet deadlines and overcome operational problems, and being able to collaborate with people at all levels within our internal structure.
